Woa! I'm not sure I wish to be seen as the leader.. I intend to still work for the FF. With that said, at this moment in time I might have to be provisionally until we find someone to fill that post.

I kinda liked the idea of been out of the lime light, a bit like you, know only as the Duke. As we discussed about the inner core faction. Been of a religious core, I was thinking about the Senex Vinco (Senior Master) post.

Ho! Almost forgot assets; Well I've not got a great deal of credits, but I will be able to match you with credits in a few months. I have quit a variety of equipment and a couple of freighter class.

But we'll still be short of 5,000,000 credits and a 7x7 building!!

There's no rush Appan, I should have some income coming in to cover the extra five. I would ask that you keep your credits and assets until we've hit our targets. Plus keep saving, like I said I should have credits coming in, you'll have your pay cheques from the FF (depending how much you wish to add to your total).

Tig, the credits we are talking about are what our characters earn in the Comby game. Each faction generates credit income from they facilities in game, it's not real money or credit. I have several facilities of my own which ever month sends my character credits for it's monthly income. Check out SW Combine site and have a read through it's rules and game details.

It's a great game to get involved with. It's completely free, the only thing, if you chose to buy them, are the Combine Points. These allow you to get your hands on some rarities, manly ships. But you can earn CP's by klick and vote system. I have been in the game for about five years and have yet to spend any real cash on CP's, as I've earned them through the klick 'n' vote system.

We should look into building a city or two, one with our HQ in it. We'd need a RM hauling vessel... That'll cost some credits too. To buy a slab ready to go is over 10,000,000!! And that's before we fork out for a decent sized hauling vessel. Any idea's Duke?

Humm! The only route open to us is the CP's, but don't go spending real cash of those CP's. The Class VI Bulk Freighter, is the cheapest at 38,100CP's.

It's Weight Cap: 45,000 T and Volume Cap: 20,000 m³.

Or buy a Modular Conveyor, from your friends the Falleen Naval Contracts. If their selling!

Or a BFF-1 Bulk Freighter, from Aurora Technologies or Incom Corporation

It's Weight Cap: 100,000 T and Volume Cap: 135,000 m³.

Much of a muchness with the CP versus Credits. It'll take me longer to get CP's, I'm guessing by your post it's the same for you.

FNC will not sell to anyone, not even a member of the FF.

So I'll look into the BFF-1 Bulk Freighter, it's one of the largest on the market and I've had dealings with Incom Corporation before.

On a simular note, as we've both got Eta's, I like the idea to stick with them as our main starfighter squadrons...

OK scrub buying a BFF-1 Bulk Freighter unless we've got 35,000,000 credits hidden somewhere!! The cheapest I've uncovered is 23,000,000.

Could buy a Class VI Bulk Freighter (That's the one we can get via CP's), for under 10,000,000 credits.

A GR-75 Medium Transport (Gallo) for under 20,000,000 credits!!

A W-23 Star Hauler for under 5,500,000 credits...

I watch the cheaper ones (W-23 and Class VI) But out of the two the Class VI carries more mats, both in weight and volume....

I'd say not to pay out that kind of amount with credits, we need as many credits as poss' on the faction itself. If your up to 'clicking' CP's Appan, I think that's the way to go. I'll start also, so the first person to the amount needed can get the ship (I've just seen how many CP's we need for one of them.. ).

Ok, i understand now.. Plus i've joined as a member, and i've joined a faction. But they dont pay much, not the amounts you two are talking about.

See i'm keeping my character file hidden, but yes i'm using the same handle.

Any news on that hauler ship?

Anyhow, have yet to find a cheap enough hauler. I have bought myself a warehouse, so once I've got this hauler I can start buying in mat's then store them at me warehouse. I'd suggest once we've got these, we start looking for sights to build city slabes. Then get something on them to stop slab decay (like a generator). We'd have upto a month before slab decay would kick in.

Places we could have a fair crack at are astroids and moons that have no government.

OK let me know when you've got the hauler. I like your plan, the idea of the asteroids is a good one, might need permission from the system government though.

A warehouse, spose yeah.. I'm not totally sold, but I can see were your coming from. Once you've that hauler and started buying mat's, I'll start looking for places to biuld on.

I waz going to say i'd buy the materials.. but have since seen there prices on the cpm... it may be a while before i can afford some.

Don't worry everthing in the Comby takes a while.

Well here goes (I do hope The Duke your still watching this site), I have good news I have a Modular Conveyor! A mere 12,000,000credits! I say that as I've been promoted, not only by rank but by position in the fleet (Fleet CO to be precise). Anyhow that will make finances a little easier.

We'll need to start looking for potentail planets, moons or asteroids to build our cities on...
